Will their gun oil for real guns work with a paintball marker?

Yes. The oil recommended by Tippmann (Hoppes No9 Lubricating Oil) is the standard lub-oil for firearms. Hoppes doesn't make a specific paintball-related oil.

Very good stuff.  It's the only oil I'll use on any of my markers.

Reading your manual would have also told you this.

I read my manual. I just saw a Hoppes kit for paintball, but my dad has some Hoppes 9 and would use that instead of buying the kit.

Better safe than sorry... so it's good that you asked.

I vaguely recall someone in the past that read how Hoppes No9 was recommended... and they had gone out and bought the solvent rather than the lube oil, not knowing that Hoppes No9 was a series of products. Sucked for them.

Nothing wrong with a little clarity.
