No, the flash is because of the fine powder used. Basically it doesn't loud because my cameras microphone sucks... Plus The sound off something that large isn't a pop like a fire cracker. It's a REALLY deep sound.

LOL, I will have to post up the vid of when we broke out the flame thrower later. We had a big pile of all the used fireworks in the middle of the circle, then we prepped the flame thrower and torched the entire pile.
