I thought i would get some expert opinion about which barrels kick the most ass. such as brand, type, length and why they are better than other barrels.

i dont have a lot of experience with barrels but i like the flatline barrel because of the distance it can shoot. but i wish i could crank up the velocity on it and still get the same performance.

i want to try another barrel but not sure what would be better.

super noob

Well reguardless of the barrel you get you should not turn up the velocity. Turning up the speed may increase distance but it will probably decrease your accuracy and seriously hurt one of your friend.

A 14in barrel is what you want. If you play in a 0 humidity area you can get a barrel kit and match the ball to the barrel. With humidity I suggest getting an overbore barrel, which means the ball doesn't fit incredibly tight in the barrel, which allows the humidity to expand the ball and you still wont get breaks.

I like custom products barrels, they are cheap, come in a variety of colours and 3 different bore sizes.

They just suck.

If you like the flatline, get the apex instead.

It is better in every way and cheaper too.

Stopwatch: Humidity doesn't affect the ball that much really but with a kit, you can just swap it out anyways.

The idea behind using the search engine for 'best barrel' is because there are literally dozens of threads asking the same question with people that have already given the answers you are seeking.

Humph... Just FYI barrels (except flat line and apex) will not increase your range... a 14'' IMO is best for maneuverability//accuracy.  20'' will not help you but make it harder for you... the only differnce in barrels really is sound disapation and bore.  So what are you looking for sound levels or effeciency.  The only thing a long barrel IMO is good for is when your shooting through a bush... other than that is going to be more painful for you...

Hey, i usually use a white box, no-name brand of paint, or maybe a grade
higher, but anyway... its terrible paint!! I use the Smart parts 21" tactical
barrel and i love it! It shoots true and straight, but it takes away from your
distance, i do not mind lobbing the shot, because its still very straight.
Personally, i do not mind the long 21" barrel, may get in your way, but it
was around 56.99, so its easy on your wallet, and not picky on paint
