A5 faltline install problem

   Trying to install this flatline on my A5 is causing some grief.  First
of all, getting the barrel and adapter off was a pain.  After loosening
all 3 screws as instructed, that adapter did not want to come off.  But
I finally got it off.  Then inserting the flatline was very difficult. 
I even loosened the 3 screws to the point of taking them out, still
very, very tight.  So I get the flatline on, turn it 1/4 turn as
instructed and it seems to be in-place with the screw on top aligned
with the sight.  BUT now the top screw won't grab the threads of the
nut (i.e.. it won't tighten down) because putting the new barrel on has
caused the gun body to expand slightly at the top such that there is a
slight gap where the 2 halves of the body come together (if you know
what I mean).  What a pain in the @$$.  I thought this was suppose to
be an easy install.  Any tips ?
