Due to my lacking of a usable garage, I need a car cover for the crappy so called Michigan winter. A quick check online and it looks like most covers are at least $100. I'd rather not spend more than $200.
So what I'm wondering is if the more expensive ones are really worth the money. Anyone have experience using them? |

I have one for my car, but I never use it, mainly because it's a hassle to take on and off, and i feel like the paint would be better off without having the cover pulled on and off everyday.

Well I plan on parking my car for the whole winter so it might only come off a handful of times such as when it hits 50 degrees in December. That won't be bad will it?

F'Realz. I've never, ever, ever used a car cover, and I live in the Yukon. Our cars are just dandy. |

I'm surprised that you were unaware, but yes I was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon. I live in Vancouver, BC 8 months out of the year now for university, but I'm in whitehorse right now. |

Well certain car overs are better than others. You need the one with the inner lining that is soft and safe for the paint and you need one that breathes becaus if it doesn't, mold can build up.
