improper firing

   I have a 98 custom pro platinum with the e-grip. In normal mode it fires fine, one shot per trigger pull. Then when I set it to 3 shot burst it should fire single for the first 3 then do the burst. But after the first 3 shots it just keeps firing on its own even after i release the trigger and doesnt stop. Help    Thank you
