Not worth it.
Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

oh there is tons in the search about polishing, but just incase. All your doing is getting off over spray from factory painting in the inside of your marker. Try some #3 steel wool to get off the big paint, do not press really hard and scrub in the same direction that the internals would move in your marker. Then step down to #0 steel wool and do the same thing. Be sure to use some kind of lubricant while scrubbing with the steel wool. After the #0 it should be really smooth but if you want it even better get a dremel tool and mothers aluminum polish and go over it till your happy with it.  Clean the marker. Chemical in the polish will dry out your o-rings so make sure it is all off. After cleaning lube and assemble. Sometimes doing this will spike your FPS if so try turning it down with the velocity screw if that does not do it try a lighter spring. I even ended up cutting a spring in mine to get it bellow 300.

/face palm

I'm with Mack on this.  If you have no idea what polishing is for, why are you even bothering to ask about it?

Well i thought i made it clear what it was for. Not only did I say what polishing is for I even made it clear about the side effects and how to fix it. Im not sure i could make it any clearer what it does. Read it again and think about it.
