The power tube from a friend's alpha black cracked and he isn't finding a replacement power tube anywhere.

Can he use a 98c power tube instead!? Is it the same thing?

I believe it is the same. Contact Tippmann and they will most likely replace it for you as it is still under warranty and/or try www.tippmannparts.com and they should have replacement PT's.

I dont have a standard 98c tube laying around, but Im good at eying things and from what Ive seen theyre the same.

I just went to tippmannparts.com and yes, they are the same. Part number 98-21NR
