Apple, I hate you.

So, with Apple's new model out, my school dropped the price of computers substantially.

My MacBook Pro is only $1400 now.

I am very angry.

Not only do I have older technology (ie: I am envious of the 9 series GeForce card in the new laptops), but I overpaid significantly.

My next computer will probably not be bought from them after this.  I think I love my computer less now.

But if anyone wants a cheap MacBook, go here.  And please remind them they suck.

Hrmmm, my PC laptop seems to be going for the same price I bought it for 6 months ago.

I love my MBP, and I know it's not obsolete.  I won't really need to purchase a new laptop until I'm out of college.  I can buy more RAM if I so choose, I have 200 gigs on my hard drive, and a 250 gig external.  I fail to see how my laptop is obsolete.

Exactly.  I got what I paid for, I'm just angry that I was too dumb to do research before, realize they were coming out with a totally updated model this year, and wait.

It still blows every laptop I've ever tried except Alienware (read: POS) out of the water in terms of gaming.

I still have the 2.2Ghz macbook pro and I dont really care that they have new ones, as mine still works perfectly for everything I need it for. I ditched my Powerbook for my MBP when I needed a performance boost, and wanted an intel platform.
