   what is a very good sniper. But i dont want to spend an arm and a leg. It could be a regular gun but with upgrades.

	Jmangino...long story short the term "sniper" is something of much debate in the paintball world. The closest thing you'll get to a "Sniper" style marker will be something with an APEX barrel on it. Even then you're sacraficing a bit of accuracy for improved range and the improvement is not all that much. What you are looking for is what just about anyone else in paintball is looking for, the most consistant marker you can get.

	There are no snipers in paintball. If you really want, I can have Snake teach you a lesson. That being said, look into something like a Tippmann 98c or A5. Both have a plethora of upgrades available that can take you in virtually any direction you could want to go. The Alpha Black and X7 are nice guns if you're into mislim. Any of the above guns, with the addition of a JJ Ceramic or Apex, would make a nice beginning gun.

	You need to immediately remove the idea from your head that the conventional idea of 'sniping' can apply to paintball. Limitations on range and accuracy prevent you from making head shots at 300 meters without your opponent knowing where you are. Trying to accomplish these feats will get you laughed at. Saying "But I use stealth and sneakiness to engage my opponents" will get you a hearty 'congratulations' because that's what all paintballers who play in the woods do. If you want a little bit of added range, slap a flatline on a tippmann. But, whatever marker you decide on, learning how to actually USE it will benefit you much more than a long barrel and a ghillie suit.

	First find a good gun, learn what the gun can do and how to do it, and then learn how to be a basic one each grunt, ie bullet stopper. Once you learn some fieldcraft skills in a "combat" enviornment, then maybe you can adapt a form of "interdiction rifleman" skills. "Shoot and scoot" works a lot better than a "hide and hope" play style in this short ranged game..
