Ok, so I just received a Tippmann 98 Custom Basic for christmas as my first paintball gun. I assembled the gun and got it together, and it will not shoot paintballs. Forgive anything I miss, as I am just coming into the sport.
Basically, it seems to come out of the hopper just fine, just when I fire it, the ball goes about a third into the barrel. From what it looks like it seems it has something to do with the C02 tank. It looks like it has all the parts, just not functioning correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Is the CO2 tank full? If not then that is your problem. I would suggest reading your manual.

Yeah its probably that the CO2 tank isn't full. If its full, or filling it doesnt work, try bringing it somewhere and having it chronographed. The psi might have gotten turned down. Maybe even try a different CO2 bottle? Thats all i can think of. Hope it helps =D
