Hey i have a flatline barrel for my Tippmann 98 custom platinum. It has the platinum threads, but it screws on too far. When i back it off a little bit to get it to line up with the gun, it is loose. Is there any way to fix this?

i would recomend returning it and seeing if the same thing happens with a different one.  if it does I would get a diff barrel.

Yeah it didn't do all that much for me. I have a 14" all american and its works much better. The flatline is just nice because it looks good with my current setup and it has the rails on top. The aa works real nice but the curved streamlined look doesnt go with the rest of the gun. I was thinking of getting the smartparts tactical barrel but i dont have any money -_- But i suppose i would if i returned the flatline.

I dont think I would suggest that, the flatline is or has been in the past, a very stubborn barrel.

I would call tippmann before returning or trying anything with it. They may have a solution or maybe even send a new barrel.

Other than that, if you want the increased distance a flatline can offer, try an apex barrel.
