let’s get crackin’

since it's winter and all I'll post a winter pic.  Here's my buddies 15 year old son who has been training with us on the trail since he was 7.  He's a stock car racer that races half of the races in a season, wins about half of those races he races in.  He's the kind of guy that can spin out, end up in last then catch up and win the race.  He can thank me later for the skills he learned from me =)

This pic wasn't staged.  I rolled up, he bouncing around so i whipped out the camera and clicked.  He didn't even know I was taking pictures.  I didn't even have time to properly focus as you see the foreground is in focus.  Much more to come in the spring.  We had to use the shovel alot on this day.

Very nice. I loved riding the sled my uncle had.

636 yes I'm so long winded here about snowmobiles.  Massive repitition seeing that my last sled related post was last April.

guy is that Brighton?  Those REV's look twitchy.  Where did you ride?  Almost looks like Lakes of The North

first 2 pics are Alpine Valley, second is up near Traverse, third is Crystal Mountain. I'm getting back in shape by skiing this year. and i'm really feeling it too.

Aftermath of the ice storm in
December. There's about 3/4" of ice on everything, and at about 2:00 I woke
up to an exploding transformer and stayed up because of continuous
crashing of trees falling over and large branches breaking off and bouncing
off the roof.
