Residue?

So the field I mostly play at recently switched their paint from
Midnights to something else (red legion perhaps). Anyways i'm not
really sure what kind of paint it is. 

I've noticed that when I clean my gun and mask, after I get all the
paint off there's this white(ish) residue left on the gun. Mostly on
the composite plastic parts. Also on my mask. The lens is very dirty
and i've tried almost everything I can think of to get it off. 

Also, the residue does not come off. It's almost like a stain.

Anyone else have this problem? Advice?
