It came in a box of old Tippmann stuff I bought as a lot. It's a power tube or bolt support like the 68's used but I am waiting for two ProLites so was wondering if I should keep these.
Application? Thanks for any help, no luck elsewhere.

Is that even a Tippmann part? It doesnt look like even a prolite powertube. But I havent broken a prolite down in ages so I could be mistaken.

I know, the tube section is small dia. also.
in the center of the three holes there are marks from a valve stem.
So I think it's used with the double end valves like the 68 special.?
Thanks for the input.
I'll just put it in the box of spare stuff. lol

If the tube section is smaller... perhaps it's from an old SMG-60? Smaller tube: smaller bolt. Smaller bolt for the smaller paint?
SMG is one of the Tippmanns that never made it into my hands, which could account for me not recognizing the part? |

i had an understanding that the SMGs dident have bolts?
try posting over at MCB. they have a whole forum set up for part identification. edit:
smgs dont have a front bolt, they just seal with the stripper. nore does the valve have a stem like the later power tubes. if its a tippmann part and its this difficult to identify its either a very new part or it may be from an aftermarket power tube. Edited by merc - 07 February 2009 at 8:00am |
