i have this idea to put an autococker into a wood stock body kit for a scenario look. i found this company who makes WW2 body kits for paintball guns, and i asked him if it was possible to make a Kar98k body kit for an autococker. he told me it would be possible if the trigger frame could be taken off.

and thats the thing...
can an autococker trigger frame be removed? i am currently wondering about any of the WGP trilogy 'cockers so i can buy one and put it into a wood stock for a really cool scenario look. also i want some sort of pump marker, so this would be good as a pump i would just have to make a cocking arm and so on, so if anybody has answers for the trigger frame removal question, or any ideas about what to do with the rest of it for functionality, glad to hear 'em

thoughts anyone?

Yes, 'cocker frames are removable. The thing is, for it to be semi, you'd have to attach a linkage arm from the 3-way to the new trigger. But since you want it pump, that eliminates that problem. So, yeah, you should be good to go.

Turning an autococker into a pump is easy. Just pull off the pneumatics and screw on a pump kit. The Trilogies have specialized pump kits, however, as their pneumatics are integrated into the front of the body. It's still just as easy as going out and buying a Trilogy pump kit.

The main thing to keep in mind, however, is that unmodified 'cockers use back blocks, so there will need to be some clearance for the block to move.

is this the same with all trilogy versions like the competition, pro, sport, etc?

also since the front of it would be in a body, couldnt i just pull of the pneumatics, then put it in the body kit? then i wouldnt have to ask for room to pump using the pump kit which might take away from the looks, so on and so forth.

without the pump kit installed couldnt i just pull on the back block to cock the gun?

Yes you could just pull on the block, much like a bolt action. But you'd have to plug the front chamber some how. And relocating the pneumatics on a 'cocker is more difficult than just screwing them somewhere else. The pneus consist of the 3-way, the ram and the LPR. The ram and the 3-way have to be aligned with the backblock. And as said, the 3-way is integrated with the body on Trilogies, so there is no easy solution to relocation. And yes, all Trilogies are essentially the same. The only differences between them are the 2 finger trigger on the Pro as opposed to the 1.5's on the other models, and on the Sport it has a gas-thru instead of a regulator. Other than that, they are all the same.

the front chamber... plugging it could happen by putting something solid in the way, or would i still have to install a pump kit?

^^^ He's trying to convert a Trilogy to a bolt action rifle.

Well, now that I think about it, you may have to look for a Vert or a Prostock full 'cocker. The Trilogies, since they have an integrated front block, may leak if you take off the pneus. You can just turn the LPR down all the way for the same effect, but with all the pneumatics there, it may be difficult to fit it into the stock.

Witht the full body 'cockers like the Vert and the Prostock, you can just pull the front block off, easily removing the pneumatics. The problem is, I can't think of any aftermarket plugs. You can probably have one made for an affordable price, or make your own out of something that fits. Unfortunately, I can't recall the threading and pitch of the valve chamber...

if you still like a trilogy, here is a trilogy pump kit all you have to do is not use the pump and arm, then you have your "bolt" action.

That could work. You'd have to cut away a place for the pump guide rod though. I still think the cleanest solution would be having a plug made. But the pump guide idea is pretty good.

so just a solid plug with a perfect fit in the place where the pneumatics go would make it a bolt action then?
