We got duped again.

Ok, so everyone remembers when GM execs flew into Washington the first time and asked for $30billion and were rejected right? They came back later promising massive restructuring etc and walked away with a $13 billion check? Well... gasip! Looks like they freaking lied to us. OH NO!,  The story is about GM spinning Saab off, but I had to take note of the part where GM is now saying they need $30billion, not the 13 or 18. Hmm, looks like we just got the ole bait and switch. Did anybody except the idiots in Washington REALLY think they were going to change? Dumbasses.

I did state they asked for $30 bill initially, but came back to the table and said they could get by with 13 billion and promised massive restructuring including reduction of labor costs etc. So is the argument that under the Bush administration, typically anti-union, this would have come to pass, but now that we are under Dem control, union friendly, that we are screwed? After they have broken their promises to change, do we finally see them for what they are and let them fail? Is Bankruptcy the only way these companies will ever break the hold of unions and have a snowballs chance in Hades of surviving?
