    Posted: 28 February 2009 at 1:34am
I have already purchased a new feedneck for an Invert Mini but have had sooooo much trouble with the stock feedneck removal. I used a strap wrench to prevent scratching, but the stock Mini's feedneck is a onepiece splitback feedneck and when I started to turn the feedneck it basicly started to crumple like a pop can and did not budge from its original install position. I am really scared about trying to remove it again because of making the matter worse. Will a heatgun loosen loctite?
I'm thinking about just bring it into my local shop and see if they can remove it.
Anyone else had any similar problems with their Mini's or feedneck problems?

Help me out here if you can...

Put a hopper in it or stack quarters in it before you use the strap wrench.

I have owned a Mini and found the feedneck to be very good.
Are you just swapping coloured parts with a friend?

I heard that a heatgun or hairdryer may help.
