wrong forum, but
blowback gases operate a piston attached to a ratchet, gas pushes the piston, turns the ratchet which turns the paddles forcing a ball into the chamber, then a spring pushes the piston back and resets it on the ratchet so its ready to go again |

I'll take this one. Firstly, yes, there is a level of danger that is undeniably present in paintball. However, it's also tightly regulated to keep safety as the primary goal of the game. Masks, protective gear, velocity caps, distance rules, all of those and more are in place to prevent serious injury. Lets face it, any sport you play has a level of danger to it. How is it fun? Its tough to explain. Its like any other hobby. We're shooting at our friends, yes, but there's much more to it than that. Look past the equipment and take a peek at the game itself. |
