A friend of mine has a 98 custom he's trying to sell. The only thing keeping me from buying it is this- when you pull the trigger, it will cycle 2 or 3 times. That's all I know. i don't know if it will shoot 3 times with balls in or what. What is wrong and how much would it cost to fix?

Does he have a response trigger or e-grip on there? If so, that would explain the multiple shots per pull. If not, he might have a worn down bolt and sear. Check out www.tippmannparts.com for how much that would be to replace. |

hmm, well it sounds like a three shot burst kinda thing. the sear or sear spring might not be catching the rear bolt. so check the sear spring.if your confused go to the product manual on the costumer services link on tippmann.com the spring (if that's the problem) you can buy for like a doller or two at tippmannparts.com
