I hope. It's a BNIB Outkast Sniper II. Never seen paint. The whole "what should an autococker-bodied pump be called?" argument is null and void with this one, as it came from the factory as a pump, making it one of WGP's last official Snipers. It's the wierdest thing; about a week ago I was just thinking, "Gee, I really wish I had gotten one of those Outkast Snipers while they were on sale," and suddenly this thing showed up! Yay for telepathic manifestation! Anyway, I think I paid a bit much for it (at $185), but it's BNIB and I've always liked 'Kast bodies. On that note, why are Outkast/Nightkast bodies WGP's red-headed stepchild of 'cockers? They seem to get less respect than the Prostocks. :(

As a necessary disclaimer, these are not my pics (they are the seller's). As always, I'm WAY to impatient to wait for it to come in before I post up! :)






Was it WGP's attempt to cater to the increasing pump market? Was it them re-releasing their original  marker out of nostalgia? Or was it a desperate attempt to whore out their remaining bodies and pump kits before they went belly-up? Who knows? Point being, it's mine now! MUAHAHAHAHA!

i think the prostock bodies get more "respect" because theres so many of them out there and poeople arent really used to seeing an outcast/nightcast that often.

It's not so much that, it's just when I check out pricing and such, I often see other people remark on what seems to be a reasonable price, "Your price is too high for just a 'Kast," or "It's only an Outkast body," etc.

I prefer an Outkast over a Prostock, with the exception of the '05 Prostocks.

Its very pretty. Would look better with dist black parts IMO.

Definitely gonna have to swap that 18"-ish looking barrel for something smaller.

Yeah, I've got an OTP kit I'm gonna use.
 
Believe it or not, that ridiculous thing was the barrel WGP included.

I've owned a 'Kast, an '05 Prostock, and a '03 Prostock, and I honestly thought the '05 Prostock was sexier than both the others, but that being said the 'Kast is a great looking marker - definitly miles ahead of the '03 Prostock.  I love the dust finish on them, looks great.

Probably a little bit much, but I'd definitly shell out the little bit extra for a BNIB marker like that.

Looks like my old pump. I sold mine for $200 just a few weeks ago so I'd say you got a pretty good deal.

nice find Det, i allways liked the kast bodys better but i hated that frame that is on it now.

I actually kinda like those frames. Of course, that's the frame my first 'cocker had, so I may be a bit biased. :)

haha, I read your posts just to see what you bought since the last post.
 
I like it a lot. I considered making my BM a pump but opted for a CCI,
my friends cocker shot better :(
