still waiting for replys...i might have to go with the vibe since it handles Co2 better.....if anyone can tell me how the alpha black handles with the C02 (e grip) because its suppose to not do that well with it and the only thing i can get out here is some co2 but then again i kinda miss my alpha black i just returned so if you can reply wich will be better out of the vibe and alpha black e grip...

im getting a vibe with a hpa tank,harness with 6 pods,full auto hopper,for 240....
the e grip is suppose to really suck with it so i doubt it...the vibe handles well with co2 but is better with compressed air so im getting a tank for 20 bucks.....its a lot cheaper and stuffz...but thanks anyways
no offense but tippmann is more msil

I'm kinda confused with that post... But any tippmann will run great with CO2, I don't know who told you that egrips aren't good with them, but, don't believe another word they say. My dad runs that and it's perfectly fine.

And if you're missing it, why not get HPA and the AB? Since you're getting it for the vibe, why not. Vibes aren't that amazing.

it comes with the pack DeTrevni....most places like avi add 20 dollars to the gun if u want a hpa tank with it...
and to the guy before:
"Do not get a Alpha black, it is just a Tippmann which are overpriced guns that lack in performance but make up for it in Milsim appearance and the ability to beat it against a rock and run it over with your car lol."

"If your rocking Co2 don't get the Tippmann, it has **edited**ty efficiency and is only good for its milsim looks. Vibe works great on CO2 cause it actually has a reg and the reg has a relief valve so it works with liquid Co2."

also the hpa tank+ab+hopper is to expensive....for my budget so vibe is a cheaper way and i dont wanna use a retarded allen wrench to change from full auto->burst etc. till' they fix that i think ill stick with my vibe and when i got money i might get a x7 or a shocker....
no offence to tippmann but theyre mainly basic level not meant for tournament level which im gonna try getting into around my county

never had a problem with my tippmann hanging with the rest. it has great efficency. the tippmanns are made to handle Co2 (both gas and liquid). no offence, but that dude you talked to sounds like a total tool.

and if your worried about changing it get the e-grip, save up some money, and get a virtue board.

All of my tippmanns work great with both CO2 and HPA...

i would rather my A-5 with Egrip over a Vibe.

And as I said before... Do not listen to whoever told you that. I really dont use tippmanns anymore myself, but im not ignorant enought to practically say they are useless besides their ability to double as a paintball gun and hammer.

OP, if you were already convinced that tippmanns were for Milsim only and lacked the ability to hang with the tournament styles then why did you post on the Tippmann forum. My 98 with tuned RT and cyclone performs better than most of the low level electronic markers that people have in Nebraska. Upgrade the barrel to something decent and you have a marker that puts you right up there with some of the best out there. You can talk BPS or or changing modes with an allen wrench all you want but you will get no anti tippmann sympathy here, sorry.

Oh, and I hope you know, that in tournaments, you're not allowed to change your settings. If you do, you'll get kicked out, likely banned, from tourneys.

And, there are caps. Pretty low now actually. I can shoot faster in semi than some tourneys allow.
