picked up a SL-68II off of ebay a few months ago, sanded it down and sprayed it with some primer for now,
epoxied a weaver sight rail onto the stock rail and mounted pretty cool red dot i got for cheap online, threw on a 50 round hopper with a 100 round tube flip lid and to top it all off it has a fully functional "rain cover" Tons of fun to play with and helps my save so much paint considering my other gun is a virtued 90* frame shocker. cell phone pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() Edited by chronic future - 18 June 2009 at 11:49pm |

I agree. I however did get a chance to use mine this year when the 98 I took to the field turned out to have a maximum velocity of 160 fps.* I only had one good game** but I did have a blast all day. *Because I was fiddling with it and (like an idiot) put the wrong mainspring in when I reassembled it. ** Two eliminations and one bunker/surrender. |

* is the cause of most of my problems too Mack.
My SL's been in a box for a year, not nearly as nice as yours condition wise.

I feel ripped off, that is a sl-68II not an sl-68.
Still super though. |
