Alright so I finally figured I should see if anyone knows of an easy way to get the cocking spring to stay in place when re assembling the A-5. Every time I take my A-5 apart the only problem I have is getting this spring to stay in place while I put the receiver sides back together. It is too long for the grooves so it bunches up and pops out of place. As of now I use something thin but sturdy (Thin piece of cardboard) to hold it down while I try to get the receivers back together.
Anyone have a simpler way? Can I just cut it shorter so it doesn't bunch up, or will that mess it up? Thank you |

I had the same problem. It's a pain, but I just learned to deal with it.

Practice. The faster you get, the easier and less tricky it becomes. Also, over time the sping will loosen up a little making it easier.
