I have heard that you can fill a HPA tank at fire station if you buy a regulater is that true

Well being a fireman I will answer this question. Some fire departments have HPA tank fillers but 99.9% there not for use for somthing like this and are required to be kept open for filling SCBA tanks rather than Paintball tanks. So the anwser is most likely you will not be able to fill at a fire station.

If you can't find a paintball store that will fill your tanks, SCUBA or otherwise your best alternative is to find a dive shop. I wouldn't pester any of the fire departments with filling your hpa tanks. The last thing they need is to have people just showing up for fills.

Yeah as mentioned before we have a ton of tanks we have to do on our own. The fire department will not fill SCUBA tanks because they are diffrent from the SCBA tanks that we use. They are made of diffrent materials, have diffrent standards to fill and for legallity issues. |
