Alright guys, i got my new bt-47 in the mail the other day, and have an issue. Out of the box, the barrel shroud is 3 or 4 inches from the gun. I am asking if anyone knows how to loosen the shroud to slide it down. pics show my problem, and sorry my grammer is not good im not english. http://s938.photobucket.com/albums/ad230/jack0tree/?action=view¤t=101_0203-1.jpg

I'm not familiar with any BT products, but there should be 1 or more set screws
in the shroud. Loosen them and slide it up to the body, then re-tighten.
Your instructions should show what screws to loosen to allow you to line up
the shroud vertically. Just slide the whole thing back as you do that.
Hope it helps

where did you get that, it looks way to long for a apex barrel they should only be a 14inch, that looks like a 18inch or more, vary odd.
anyways the set screws, 2 screws are under the tiny black rod (in real life its the barrel cleaner for the ak47), one screw will take off the front crosshair, and the other will loosen the main body, then it should all slide down.

here are the screw spots, if i missed one, it's because you dont need to touch it.
![]() when you remove the bar (yes mine is metal, and the grips are wood) you will have access to three more screws (if yours dosent have a spring clip then you should have only two). Edited by kurieitaa - 26 July 2009 at 1:13pm |
