Does anyone know of a good drop forward that doesn't drop to much and moves the tank forward about 2-3 inches?  When I look at the ones online it rarely ever says the dimensions of the drop forward.  Thanks.
My 98c ACT setup:

Tippmann 98 custom ACT
Extreme Rage db sound activated electronic hopper
J&J 14'' Full Tilt ceramic barrel
Maddog Designz double trigger
Stryker 20oz. CO2 tank

I haven't heard of anyone getting a drop in years.

I agree, they were replaced with the idea of a stable shooting platform.

What do you mean by a stable shooting platform?  Do you mean using he tank as a stock?  I can't imagine anyone buying a drop forward and not using their tank as a stock...  Anyway, what alternative to a drop forward are you suggesting?

no no, sorry. A stable shooting platform is the stock or tank solidly on the front of
your shoulder, with your line of sight just over the frame of the marker.
If a drop doesn't put your tank below your armpit or allow the marker to touch your
mask with your head in a normal position, go for it.

You should do what you want Wink we were just musing.

Ya ok, that's what I was trying to do.  Right now my it's a real pain to look down the sight of my 98c because I have to lean forward and bend my neck if I want to keep the tank against my shoulder Angry.  That's why I'm trying to find something that doesn't drop much, but goes forward a few inches.  Thanks for clearing things up!

Yarr, I got my drop forward precisely because all the stocks I tried didn't allow me to sight along the top of the marker ( when I angled my head to sight in, the stocks would all hit my mask instead), whereas the drop forward allowed the tank to seat nicely in the front of my shoulder and enabled me to sight along the rail.  Of course, I have a pretty long neck, maybe that had something to do with it; having something seated in my shoulder requires me to cock my head a bit to get it to line up properly.

And the Great War broke out…or was it a penguin?
