I bought an etrigger a few minus ago and now the sear pin is slipping causing the gun to fir a burst of low pressure shots and makes the marker sound like it's outa air. I thought I was the trigger... Till I pulled the stricter ou and just used the etrigger bolt and sear pin, still slips. I examined it and can't find any damage to either,
any1 run into this problem? Solutions? |

Sorry about that! I pulled the etrigger board and hardware out and am using the sear pin and bolt that comes with he upgrade kit, and the pin STILL slips.
I have a tippmann98 custom platinum with ACT. |

The metal rectangle and the spring behind it, did you remove it?
The slider (metal rectangle) must be removed for the etrigger to work correctly.
That about all I can think of if that's the only thing you changed.

Yes, the slider must go. Additionally, any parts that came with the e-trigger must be used to replace similar parts from the mechanical trigger set up. (I.e. use the new sear, etc.)

I get right on that!! My board is out for repairs (warranty work, wired became loose and fell off servo and board :-( ) so it made testing easy, I did use the two springs, sear pin, bolt, so Ill remove the slider ( I didn't get any install guide with it but am prett mechancally inclined so figured it out) let y'all know how it goes

ok just found out that the mechanical sear pin has a round hole on it...versus the mechanical which has a oval shaped hole on it...awesome...
by the way, my stock parts...stolen the last time i played at a nearby field, so dont have my stock sear pin, bolt, sear spring. but for some reason the sear pin that came with the etrigger has the mech hole on it...i think this may be contributing to my problems, im contacting Tippmann when the open monday to find out whats going on, as im getting frustrated.

The e-trigger 'sear' has a round hole, the mech 'sear' has an oval hole.
The 'sear' pin, is the black pin that the 'sear' pivots on. ![]() |

Here is a link to the manual for your particular marker.
It will help members here better diagnose what issues you have with the marker if you are more familiar with the correct terminology for the various parts. Hope it helps.

Which would be one of the reasons I stressed the importance of using all of the parts that come with the e-trigger. |
