I just finished painting this on Friday for a Big Game my team put on today and figured I'd share it with the Tippmann faithful. :)

Details.  It's a BT-4 Combat in ACU.  Paint type is Duracoat firearm paint.  Time to paint is roughly 12 hours including prep time.

Note the custom text added for the game including our team name, game title, and year of event.

Hope you guys like it and I'll be happy to answer any questions.

Nice work.

Thanks guys.  A couple of the folks at the event asked how much I charge to do something like this.  LOL...told them it was only my second paint job but who knows, maybe I'm on to something here. LOL

I hate ACU and I hate BTs, but you can certainly paint. Nice job

LOL...Thanks SSOK.  This is the second ACU marker I've done.  I have a Airsoft M-16 with M203 I'd like to do in Desert Digi but I'd like to expand my experiance.  They have a stencil kit that will let you do tiger strips and Orange, white and black paint.  I'd like to do a Tiger scheme using those colors but don't have a gun I'd do it on at the moment.

>_<

I'm sorry, im not trying to be a jerk but I think that would just be plain atricious. Desert digi would be fine, but I think the orange would be terrible.

One fun thing you should try experimenting with is weathering. IE, all of the aluminum pieces paint black with silver wear marks on the edges, and steel with slight bits of brown paint to show rust. Ask a person who is into model planes/tanks.

LOL...you're not being a jerk. It's an odd paint scheme and certainly not for everyone but I've seen it mocked up and it doesn't look bad.

As for the weathering I'm familiar with it.  I used to build military modles as a kid.

The Colors are too bright for my taste, but it looks cool.

Here's that Bengal scheme I was talking about.  Think of it on a speedball type setup....
