98 Custom Firing Problem

Installed a collapsable stock on my 98 custom. Now it shoots 5 balls at a time, not always but usually more than 1. What did I do wrong? HELP PLEASE

You lost the orange ball detent at the front. There should be a hooked rubber ball stopper at the front to keep more than one ball from entering the barrel area.
