Sup guys new to forums and played paintball about 5-6 years ago and im getting back into it with a couple of buddies. We are in the market for new guns and one of my friends is set on a A5 w/ egrip. I honestly havnt played in so long and last thing i had was a 98 custom. We are going to be playin all woodsball and in some 15on15 man tournaments. Ive looked at the X7 money isnt really that big of an issue would like to stay under $350 tho. Im mainly looking for a decent good with good accuracy. Thanks in advance.

You can't go wrong with a 98 or A5.  If you are looking to spend $350, the extra cash left over can get good barrel.

Don't cheap out on the mask. Spend the money on a good thermal lense mask. You can spend all the money you want on a marker, but if you can't see your opponents..... As for markers, if you have some experience and/or feel comfortable making minor repairs, consider buying used. Tippmann markers can typically be had for about 1/2 of what they go for new when you buy used. Not much can really go wrong with them that can't be fixed and still end up below what they cost new. Plus in some instances, you can get markers that have gobs of upgrades. Kinda like new cars, let someone else take the drive it off the lot loss.

Have a look at an SP1.

It should give you everything that your looking for.  Easily upgradeable looks and performance wise and pretty cheap.

Normally I would completely agree with you but Smart Parts is toast. They are completely shut down right now. They say it is only temporary but who knows.

In any case, a used gun is definitely the way to do. You could probably find something like a DM4 for $150.
