Hey everyone. I just recently received an Alpha Black and was wondering if there was any lube or oil that I need to apply to the gun itself before I use it. Also what kind of remote lines are great for this gun? Thank you for your time!

Hoppes #9 gun oil works well as does oil intended for use in air tools. Most paintball gun shops also carry oil, and I think I have even seen it at Walmart. Whatever you do, do not use WD40!

A for the Remote Line, it doesnt matter which brand you choose, they all work the same, and the only difference is the Brand Name and the Price Tag. Edited by evil_fingers - 19 January 2010 at 12:32am |

I would recommend the Ninja remote because it is cheap. I use the same oil on my deer rifle as I do my 98.

Make sure if you do get a remote, to get one with a slide check. This allow you to stop the air flow without having to screw in the knob everytime. Especially helpful if you intend on putting the tank on your back.
