I was tightening the air hose when all of sudden .. The body cracked in three places . Now it needs to be replaced  or welded . 98 platinum owners be careful when you tighten hose or else !!!!! Maybe sell if some wants to put old 98 parts on it .

What it was ......

Just buy a right receiver half from Tippmann Parts.com

And maybe try not to over tighten the hose. Wink

Next time, remove the Power Tube from the body, instead of doing the work while the Tube is still in the body.

I have to leave the power tube in i just finish oiling it up . That's all I had to do to finish was to tighten hose . I just called Tippmann and they said to send it in  , They would replace the receivers because its still under warranty .

Yup. That is why you dont over-tighten things. Snug it down tight, don't hulk wrench it.

What I dont understand, was those Hose removed from the Power Tube or was it lose and if it was lose, just like what Enos stated, Torgue It once is all you needed to do.
