Now the counter to the Tea Party Movement comes out, originality to say the least. After 8 years of obstructionist politics from the Left with Bush, they now decide we all should agree with them for the better of thier country, and stop having any opinion other than thiers. This is the Left extrmeist movement, but MSNBC will in no way cover this in the manner they cover the Tea Party Movement. More agenda reporting.
I still see the majority of the national POLLS still state that the current health care vote does not have the 'voice of the people' majority, but the elite lefties (The (D)Congress and Dear Leader Obama)'know better'. And to essentially state to thier fellow Dems that it is better to fall on your sword and agree to this and lose your next election bid, I Pelosi will still have my job since the nut jobs in San Fransisco will still vote for me no matter what. |

With your constant acceptance and understanding the rationale of opposing viewpoints coming from the left, I can understand why you would criticize them for thinking the "stop having any opinion other than theirs" line of thought.
And you're right, why can't these people be as original as the people who started the TEA PARTY movement. Careful, your partisanship is showing. |

At least I admit mine instead of trying to hide it with rhetoric and appologies. I am not nor ever have been a 'wet finger in the air' to see which way the opinion winds are blowing type.

The funny part is... The tea party was demeaned and trivialized by the MSM (main street media) for the entire summer. Now that they have effected the Brown election and the Texas election... They can't be ignored.
So the liberal MSM put out their own version to try and get the democrats out in force to help them... (because they have massively over reached with their power, as I predicted they would)
To not see that this "coffee" party is just a liberal ploy is sad but funny...
Then there is this about the "founder" of the coffee party.
whoops, guess they should have covered up her tracks better.
Typical MSM...
Open up and swallow their lies.
I hate coffee.
Oh, and we all know that the Tea party stands for taxed enough already.
Does the Coffee party stand for

^^^If this is so, it is only because he has so far been less than successful at implementing his health/energy agenda. It is also going to come to an end when he allows the Bush (for lack of a better name) tax cuts to expire.

Less taxes are being paid because more people are unemployed, and the Bush Tax Cuts are still in exsistance.

Which is less detestable than being the sort of person that changes on the whims of what is popular. However, I have to doubt the veracity of that statement, given your claims to being a constitutionalist and some of your justifications for standing behind the Bush administration throughout his presidency.
The same can be said about calling the Tea Party movement a grassroots cause. Sad but funny that people believe there were no corporations or mainstream media outlets behind it. But who is denying this is just a liberal response to the tea party? I certainly don't see any members of this forum defending the coffee party. Or are you taking random people that no reasonable person on here would agree with and posturing them as a voice that speaks for anyone who disagrees with you....again.
Oh! Let me guess! This person raped a seven-year-old girl?!? No? Oh, it's just a website belittling the movement for not being grassroots? Maybe MSNBC should have sponsored and put more effort into making it happen. Then maybe it would have legitimacy in the eyes of tea party supporters. Edited by Gatyr - 04 March 2010 at 12:42pm |

I still find it funny that the ideas of the more Liberal side of the Democratic Party whose birth began in the radical leftist movements of the 60's and 70's resisting and obstructing the 'man' (government) insist that now that they are the 'man' all must obide and agree. Any discourse simular to thier founding principles and actions of the 60's and 70's should not be tolerated and is to be considered obstructionist. The more left leaning media concures with this philosophy, and now only report the Coffee Party as positive and dives in with exceptional zeal to find the wrongs with the Rights Tea Party movement. And as stated anyone that thinks that the Coffee Party does not have political support from the current administration and the more influential leftists with money are dilussional.
