    Posted: 10 April 2010 at 8:37pm
HI, i dont know if this is the right section for this but i am new to the fourms and fairly new to paintball and i have a question. I want to ship a paintball gun from Brooklyn NY via USPS. The gun is a tippmann alpha black, and looks like a real gun, so is there anything special i need to know about shipping it? Thanks.

I've mailed several spyders..."Not the same I KNOW"  and have recieved a coupple of 98's and have never had any problems.  If you are worried, get insurance, and throw in a paintball magazene.  Just make sure you are not shipping a full co2 tank, I believe UPS gets a little upset about things like that.

Insurance will cover any damage to the property inside the package, or if it is lost will cover replacement. Normally i only insure things when theyre > $500 or so.

Just box it up, wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent scratches for your buyer, and mail it out. UPS/USPS wont care.

If they want to know what it is, its a paint marker.
