I just got into paintball and picked this up about a month ago.  I got some more stuff coming for it but here it is so far.  Scroll to post 10 for bigger pictures.

I have a Lapco Apex ready Big Shot coming still and another mount to raise the red dot a little higher.  I'm also going have my cousin paint the whole gun in blue tiger.  Here's what he did to his gun.

Excuse me, that's clearly white tiger Tongue.  When he does my gun, it'll be blue zebra, I mean tiger.

The zebra/tiger would look better if the stripes on the hopper and barrel shroud were going in the same direction . . .

. . . and if the rest of it was painted as well.

Nice start. As Mack mentioned, make sure your cousin paints the striping in the same direction. Update this thread once it's finished.

Well, I got my new barrel and mount today.  I'm liking it (Updated pics in first post).  I want to get an original X7 shroud because they're a little longer, but I don't know if it'll fit on the phenom.  It looks like it will, but...man this gun got expensive fast.

Hopefully, I'll have mine painted by next weekend.  I just got to figure out what I want painted and what to leave black.

And yeah, he wishes he did the stripes the same way.  Good thing hoppers are cheap.

Hmm now I can't decide if I'm going to paint my gun tiger stripe or digi camo.

lol, I was just checking out the painting guide and now I kinda want to do digi instead.  I'll probably stick with the tiger though.

I was thinking about doing it 2-tone.  I could maybe do silver first, then the blue over it.  That does sound like a good amount of extra work though, and I'm pretty lazy.

I'm still going to paint the apex tip, part of the stock, and parts of the mount/scope stuff.

It looks good . . . but tiger stripes really should be horizontal.

Sorry, but you're wrong. Blue tigers do in fact have vertical stripes.

Actually, you're wrong.  While blue and orange tigers have vertical stripes it is a well-known fact that blue and black tigers have horizontal stripes.

I see where you made a mistake. You are confusing the markings of the Asiatic Blue/Black Tiger with those of the Indian Blue/Black Tiger.  Common mistake.
