Carver one cocking knob

After a day of playing in the rain I decided to pull the gun apart and clean and oil it. After I put it back together the gun shoots perfect but the cocking knob feels wobbly. I dont remember it being that wobbly when I bought it but maybe it was.

The only thing I can think of that might cause what you describe would be failing to put the main spring guide pin back in.
