Hey im a beginner in paintball and i got the tippmann a5 and when i pulled the cocking handle it was stuck so i had to pull the cocking handle with all my strength and i got it to cock back but now when i cock it back it just slides back and doesnt lock or anything i never even used it yet and i cant refill the air i have to go to a local field but the next time im going to a paintball field is in 1 month so can anybody help me is it normal?

Did you take it apart at all? Maybe you re-assembled it incorrectly. Try stripping it down and re assembling it. Follow the instructions and note the part placement..

If that dosent work, a friend of mine actually did manage to break the plastic tab that actually cocks the bolt back, so take a look at that and if that did happen they sell metal replacements

Take the two pins out right at the back of the gun the take the spring out and turn the shiny metal thingy so the flatend is pointing towards the rear end of the gun. i think that will fix it.
