I think its pretty badass Ocarina of Time is coming out for 3DS. Was hoping for source 2.0, but no dice it seems

The new Goldeneye looks promising as long as you can control it with a Gamecube controller.

Portal is most definately on my must own list.
 
Good year if you're into sequels / remakes. Completely bummed at the lack of talk about Half-Life: Episode 3. Honestly, if there were ever a case against episodic gaming, Valve has pretty much made it for me with the HL series.
 
I think the next Call of Duty will fare terribly against what looks like a completely superior Medal of Honor game, and I have absolutely no plans of buying Kinect when it comes out. Maybe next year when some notable games (Forza, MGS) start making use of it, but I have no desire to play cheap Wii knock offs.
 
For me at least, Rage was the star of the show. It was nice to see one original idea, though I don't think id has been on top of the game in a long, long time. Also, I'm pretty psyched about Deus Ex and Crysis 2, I think it's about damn time Crytek made a console showing.
 
I'm baffled about their decision to make X-Com a FPS, though. Looks cool, but strange decision on the part of the developer IMO.
 
I'm glad to see that Halo has pretty much lost the gaming community's attention though. And if you haven't been paying attention, Bad Company 2 will be getting some pretty badass updates / expansions over the next few months, including a Battlefield: Vietnam remake / expansion pack. Nice to see them keeping that game updated, though if they don't fix the damn lag issues, it may be in vain.
 
Otherwise, I'll be way too busy over the next few months to really enjoy anything that comes out.

I just ordered the new xbox 360 and it will be here on tuesday, apparently I picked the right time, as now its backordered on best buy and gamestop's websites already. 

xbl account will be had... gonna buy some games this weekend.  just not sure which ones yet.


As I said in chat, within a year I plan on having all 3 of the major consoles.

It honestly never occured to me to wonder. I just assumed it was it's name. I can't think of a good example now but I thought it was literally "E3" not E E E.
