i was looking at getting me some new barrels, i was suggested these but i haven't got a clue whats the difference.

Well it looks to me like they are all for different guns. Different guns may be threaded differently, so they make barrels to fit all types.
 
AutoCocker is a brand I know of, and the next one down is made for a Tippmann 98, and I'm pretty sure that ION is it's own brand as well. As you can see if you look closely, they are all the same just for different guns. They are all the ceramic barrel elite system.    
 
 
In the broad spectrum of bad ideas I think this would have to rate somewhere between running with scissors and sticking your pecker in the toaster.
