Currently I have a 98 Custom with a Flatline barrel. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to attach a bipod to it. Any ideas?

  • Drill holes in shroud and mount weaver rail for rail compatible bipod
  • Drill holes in shroud and just bolt bipod to shroud
  • Hose clamp
  • Duct tape
  • Mount bipod to pvc pipe and slide pipe over barrel shroud
    • Secure with screw through existing holes or with large o-rings/duct tape
  • Hose clamp weaver rail on shroud with duct tape to protect finish of shroud
The best option is to find one of the bipods that clamps to the barrel and clamp it just past the end of the shroud.

They also sell different covers for the Flatline that have rails on them.

Keep in mind that he specified C98 Flatline shroud.  As far as I know the only option for this was a metal one that is no longer made.

Since the drilling will be into plastic and the bipod will be attached to plastic, it would be best to use some sort of supporting material on each side of the shroud between the bolts/nuts/bipod/etc.
