So, I bought a used 98 Custom that had an Apex barrel on it, and I really don't like or want it. I was curious as to what the resale value is of these. I don't want to sell it for a super good deal to someone, but I also don't want to have a super high price on it as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.
In the broad spectrum of bad ideas I think this would have to rate somewhere between running with scissors and sticking your pecker in the toaster.

I'm just going to wish you good luck.  I'm beginning to think that Apexs are a dying fad.  Of all the people I know that play and purchased them only one of them liked his enough to still be using it.

Of course, I could say the same thing for Flatline barrels as well; I'm the only person I know who still uses one of those occasionally.

If I was you I'd watch places with buy/sell/trade forums and e-bay and see if you could get an idea what they are going for.

Again, good luck.

I thought the same thing. About a year or so ago, the pricing dropped from $80-90 to about $40 or so. Now I see them selling new for $35.00. I thought maybe a newer version or something was coming out, but nothing ever did. As for pricing, I usually figure about 1/2 of what you have into it for Tippmann related parts unless they are ultra rare like GTA E-bolts, or FA's.

Yeah, I just realized after I posted this that I should've checked ebay. Like oldpbnoob said a lot of them were around $35 or $40. I might hang on to it, and see if they get more valuable in a few years, or keep it as a spare backup...

Apex are only good if you put them on a good barrel. The Stock Apex barrel is the worst in paintball think the old rough Model 98 Unfinished barrels were better.

I love mine with a 8" Lapco Bigshot barrel.

I have no idea what kind of barrel it is on. It looks a little better than my stock 98C barrel, but not real fancy. It shoots nicely, but I just don't really need it...

I'd only use mine if we played on a field that had some kind of bunkers.  The drop-shot effect is the only redeeming value for that barrel tip.
