Honestly, I'm enjoying the trend, even if she does turn out to be another religious nut. It seems like as a nation we have come far in respect to gender. Even the conservatives have embraced women's empowerment and taught their daughters to hunt large game with a variety of weapons, and judging from the small sample of the school I'm teaching at, run chainsaws and ride dirtbikes/ATVs as well. The real question remains, will this new breed of liberated and non-liberal females make me a sammich from the moose she shoots with a .375 H&H?

I think it's awesome that an attractive female wants to hunt and be involved in politics. It's not a gender issue with me, it's a marketing issue...it's like the Republican party took every bad Republican stereotype from the last decade or so (ditzy, uber religious, gun totin' liberal hatin' housewife) and combined them in order to breed Sarah Palin.
 
So I'm thinking, hey, they won't try that again, roooight?
