The power of their idiocy was shocking. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who explodes in under 2 minutes.
I do have a serious question though. The lady claimed the tower fell in the wrong direction because of a crack that they did not notice. First, how do you not notice a crack large enough to have that big of an impact? I'm assuming that since it completely changed the direction of the tower, we are not talking about a minute, 2 inch or so crack. Second, how the hell would she know, after everything is exploded and cracked to bits, that this crack was there to begin with? From the article:
I probably wouldn't have as much of a problem with this if it wasn't phrased so definitively. If she perhaps said "As far as we can tell the explosives detonated correctly. What we think happened was an undetected crack, probably on the south side of the tower, pulled it in a different direction." The way she said it just irks me, for some reason. |
