I prefer to sleep than spend money really really early in the morning. Plus the only real item that caught my eye this year was 40" tv for less than $300.
I'll browse the web on Cyber Monday, but that's about it. |

I was still up from all the caffeine I had earlier in the night so I decided to venture out for the first* time. I went to Dick's for their buy one get one 50% off sale on ammo. I had never looked at their ammo prices before. They wanted 19.99 for a box of .40SW that costs me 14.99 at Rural King, which means I would stand in an hour+ checkout line to save $0. They also had 45acp at 24.99 for 50 rounds. thats 50 cents per shot. I stopped by Rural King and bought 3 boxes at 15.99 each, or about 31 cents per shot. Dick's sucks.
Also, I knew the traffic would be bad, but Jesus H. Christ people are retards. I have never seen so many drivers at one time with the mindset of "Fork it, I'm goin! I hope they stop for me." Can't say I will be going out on black Friday ever again.

I was forced to tag along this morning starting at 6am. I just needed a few shirts, but wound up walking out of the store with a new blazer, a few pairs of pants, and a few shirts. Then I went and bought 6 cases of 12ga shells at dicks for a decent price. Then went over to Golf Galaxy and drove balls while the women finished shopping.
Overall, a good day. |

I thought black friday was the friday before christmas. Maybe it's different coming from a restaurant point of view. We have 400+ booked in so it wint be easy but the money will be the dogs.
Here the best sales are in january. |

It's only Black Friday for retail stores. Everyone starts buying stuff for Christmas, so there's a huge amount of shopping going on.
I think for you guys Boxing day is the start of the same craze, right? |
