ok, that will be a small obstacle. any fps over 300 is too dangerous. you may turn up the velocity too much. what marker, barrel and paint do you use? read the threads About paint to barrel match and velocity. there are hundreds of threads here about them and air source/supply. (HPA or CO2)

No a regular barrel will not make your gun "shoot straight". Paintballs curve, that is what they do. Because the fps limit of 300 or less will not allow a paintball to stay level unless you put some backspin on the ball.
There are only two barrels that do that, one is a fixed amount of bottom spin (the flatline) and the other puts a top spin on the ball, (apex or apex 2).
The Apex is adjustable, so you can set the top spin to fit what you like. Personally I use the regular Apex tip set at about 5, which shoots "flat" more like a real gun out to about 70 feet.
The Apex 2 does the same thing set at 3. So it has a LOT more possible adjustment. (plus it looks a lot cooler).
so if you want to shoot "flat" get an Apex 2. Any other barrel will have curve. As that is normal in paintball...
