I'm quite new to paintball and ive been thinking on purchasing my own marker. I saw the sierra one which looked really awesome and seemed to be good. But ive also seen the 98 which seems to have alot of cool perks like anti chop technology.

I'm not too sure when it comes to performance and quality which would be the best. I'm mostly wondering what would happen if i had an e trigger on my sierra one? Would alot of paintball chop into the barrel?

Both have the same internals.... its about looks and if you want rec or mil-sim. A 98 can be upgraded to be a mil sim also! I have a 98 so I would pick it only for it being the only gun I have owned so far. It is really reliable though. The tippmann 98 also has many upgrades. My review 98>

Both are the same marker. The Sierra One just looks cooler.

If I were you, I'd save the money and get the 98c. Spend the extra cash on performance upgrades, paint, and/or just field entry. If you feel later like you want to make a mil-sim marker, then you can enjoy the fun of buying the upgrades and creating the look yourself.
