I just took the Jung Typology Test and got the result ENTJ. Just wondering what other types of people that lurk this forum are.



"ENTJ (extraversion, intuition, thinking, judgment) is an abbreviation used in the publications of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to refer to one of sixteen personality types. The MBTI assessment was developed from the work of prominent psychiatrist Carl G. Jung in his book Psychological Types, which proposed a psychological typology based on his theories of cognitive functions.

ENTJs are among the rarest of types, accounting for about 2–5% of those who are formally tested. They tend to be self-driven, motivating, energetic, assertive, confident, and competitive. They generally take a big-picture view and build a long-term strategy. They typically know what they want and may mobilize others to help them attain their goals. ENTJs are often sought out as leaders due to an innate ability to direct groups of people. Unusually influential and organized, they may sometimes judge others by their own tough standards, failing to take personal needs into account."

I almost get either INTJ, ENTJ, or INTP. The N and T are always the same, but I go back and forth between the others depending on the questions in the test.

I took an interest in personality types for a while.

I'm the same way as Whale. Some tests will have different results for the first and last traits. ENTP descriptions fit me better. But I rarely get that result when taking most online tests.

I found INTJ websites, and it's hilarious how pathetic the people who run those sites are. They are just the types that romanticize the idea of being a lone mastermind, and don't really fit the personality. Just a bunch of cocky idiots. It's hard to trust any online resource with accurate information in this regard.

Pretty spot on really, after reading the description, though I think I got extroverted mainly because I fly by the seat of my pants, rather than being an extremely outgoing people person, so that one could potentially be an I.

I may have overstated the enjoyment I get from being alone and whatever the hell contributed to my 89% judging score (I have nuanced answers that I'd rather give for those questions, and I usually picked the less emotional/reactionary answers), but meh.

Since I started my Law course, people have been telling me this constantly. I only had a look at the definitions after you guys said how accurate they were. It does seem to have me down in the other aspects as well. Impressed.
