I have a tippmann 98 that won't shoot above 220 fps.  I upgraded almost everything hoping that thatt would fix the problem.  I added an expansion chamber aluminum power tube and New Designs bolt and Hammer. I also added the hardest spring possible, none of that has helped.  Any ideas as to what the problem is and/or possible solutions would help.

It was shooting great, but then it started shooting below 260.  That's when I put all of the mods on it.

Take all the mods back off except the stronger spring and see what it does.

Are you using CO2 or HPA? Are you sure your tank is full? Are you using a remote line or tank directly on the marker?

I have used both HPA and CO2, with both a remote line and directly on the marker itself.

Try using a full tank with it directly on the marker as sometimes remotes can starve the marker. Make sure you are not getting any leaks. Make sure you have the velocity screw turned out enough. Are you sure that it is assembled properly? Make sure when you reassembled the marker that you are not overtightening the receiver bolts. If you crank these down too hard, you can actually bind the internals. What the stronger spring does is allow the bolt to kit the valve pin harder to keep the valve open longer to let more air out. If you can't get your FPS up over 260 than something is either impeding the air flow out of the valve or the input into the valve.  Make sure the HPA tank has a high pressure regulator on it and not a low pressure regulator.
