Here's my alpha black. I've had it for a little over a year now and it's been modded like crazy.

Why is this gun looking cooler than most milsim guns I've seen? Did you paint it? Not into milsim but I really like this one

Thanks! Yes I did paint it. I prepped the right and left shells really well and then shot about 4 coats of Krylon satin black. I also wet sanded it with 600 grit each time between coats. It sure got rid of all that roughness and the marker feels great! Nice and smooth =)

Looks great! It also looks like it's heavier than my actual M4, but it really does look fantastic! Nicely done.
